Your recordings stay in your browser

The extension reads what a site sends the tab you chose to record, keeps it in your browser’s storage, and turns it into files you download. Recordings are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Clearing them, or closing the tab, deletes them.

What the extension sends us

Only its license token, when it checks which sites you have unlocked (at most every six hours, and before an export when its last check is older than that). No recording, page address or browsing history is sent.

What we store

• Your email address, to sign you in with a code.
• A label for each device you unlock, and when it last checked its license.
• Your plan and, once you subscribe, your Stripe customer id. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.
• Sign-in codes and license tokens only as one-way hashes.

Who else sees it

Amazon SES delivers the sign-in emails. Stripe processes payments. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Deleting your account

Revoke your devices from your account page. To delete everything we hold about you, email admin@cheddarwhizzy.com.
